Welcome to Hestia's Shrine!
Hestia is the Greek Goddess of the Hearth Fire. She gaurds over all things relating to the home, food, kitchens, and fires. She was known as "The First Born and The Last Born" of her siblings, The Olympians. She teaches us the importance of a central energy; be it in our homes or our communities. She also teaches us about Personal Sacrifice, as she gave up her home on Mount Olympus to stay on Earth and attend to the Eternal Flame. In Astrology she is related to Virgo, The Virgin. In Tarot she is related to The Hermit - in her solitude she seeks truth and lights the way for others.
